Hendrik Schomp is a 2028 1B/OF with a 6-7 205 lb. frame from North Reading, MA who attends North Reading. Extra tall and long build with huge physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a high hand load, quick inward toe tap timer, longer swing path with developing barrel control/feel at present, best contact was to the pull side with mostly line drive contact. 5.13 runner in the forty. Primary first baseman on defense, has step by step actions to the ball, tends to get his glove down late fielding, made accurate soft throws. Also worked out in the outfield but is much better suited athletically to first base. Good student.

My name is Hendrik Schomp and I am in the class of 2028 at North Reading High School. I play baseball for my high school and I also play for team Extra Innings. I bat and throw righty, and I play first base and outfield. I am easy to coach and flexible to make changes and improvements on my game. I love the game of baseball and get as much of it in as I can throughout the year. I like to be a part of a team and contribute what I can to the effort of winning games as a team. A win for the team is a win for me, and I try to make the most of a loss to help better my skills and mentality. I see baseball not only as a game but a metaphor for life in many ways, which is why I still believe that baseball is America's true pastime.
