Nicholas Kupsco is a 2029 RHP/OF/IF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Brookhaven, GA who attends Chamblee Charter. Long and lean young build with lots of growing ahead of him. Works exclusively from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber, quick leg raise over the rubber with a 3/4's arm slot and good direction to the plate. Fastball topped out at 81 mph and was thrown for strikes. Slider had good power and some lateness, maintained his arm speed well on a firm change up. Threw strikes with all three pitches and had a dominant outing. 7.42 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the infield and outfield defensively. Showed solid fundamentals in the outfield and worked through the ball well, carried his momentum into his throws and made accurate on-line throws. Third base actions defensively in the infield, hands worked well moving in both directions, tends to wind up to throw but showed his arm strength well. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight medium stance with a deep hand load, swings hard, still developing timing and consistency in order to control the barrel. Good student.
